I shud explain

This is the only place where I would agree that We can blame god. For I don't think god exists. But if you go for a god then you shud accept what it doles out.

I don't know you, and you don't know me. Maybe we have much more things in common than this. Maybe we won't see eye to on other stuff. So I dont assume a label for you I do expect the same from you.

The only place i would agree with you.

You go for god you accept what god gives you.

That is the only place it stays, on the ballot not in policy, bills. Because that would hurt the donors.

America just said no to duplicity.

A switch shuts the supply to the socket. Even after unplugging the socket does have electric supply, i.e. it is live. If any metallic object is inserted into the live socket it can give you a worse shock. Since the voltage supply in UK is 220V not 110V.

Shutter inside is much safer than button but is slightly costlier.

Even if you unplug it, the socket is still live at more than 200 V.

One of the part that gave me random reboots was the PSU. It used to drop voltage randomly, affecting random components. After changing that it was rock solid.

If you carry the same PSU from ur older server maybe try changing it.

Hello self hosters,

Recently I came into possession of an old Desktop PC. Its configuration is,

  • Pentium D 820, 2.8 GHz dual Pentium 4 core processor, supports 64 bit.
  • 512 DDR 333 memory
  • 90GB HDD
  • no graphics card
  • 3 PCI and 1 AGP slot

I was planning to put a ethernet card and use it as a router. It was to theown as garbage. Is what I am planning feasible or a good idea. Or it would be better as trash.

I have been thinking of completely going off Google. I have a Nextcloud server for documents and contacts and calendar. Thinking of moving mail away too. Currently I am conflicted between hosting my own email server. On searching only advice I am getting is not to do it.

How many of the homelabers do host their own email server? What software do you use? Any tips.

Hear me out, Bixby button was used to launch Samsung's personal assistant Bixby. This button is used to launch Siri. Then the button was mended to add further capabilities of launching other apps or phone functions.

I have an old x86_64 computer which I am planning to use as a NAS. Which of the 2 is a better option? Is it helpful or better to run on bare metal or as a VM on proxmox?
