I can see the purpose of this. I can take a dump in the one on the left while I whizz into the one on the right. That way I don't have to worry about pee splashing up on me when I drop a turd. Well done!

I'm curious how my attempt at pooping in one while simultaneously peeing in the other would work out.
I remember at a church I was involved in, they had to make a larger stall for ADA reasons. (Original building was from 1960) so they just moved the dividers without changing any plumbing and had a urinal and a toilet in the same stall, in order to make enough room for maneuvering a wheelchair.
Nobody wants to touch the plumbing, especially if it's down in the concrete slab.

That’s the toilet that spez deserves for destroying such classic website. Lemmy does appear quite similar to Apollo, and by extension, Alien Blue Reddit though, so that’s a plus.

in ancient rome they had public toilets like these, so they could talk while ... accessing toilet services ... makes me wonder if "shame" associated with the toilet is an invention from the middle ages?
