A former writer for a conservative political advocacy group’s website has pleaded guilty to making threats against the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).

In a press release Wednesday, the Justice Department said that 34-year-old Adam Michael Nettina of West Friendship, Maryland, pleaded guilty in a U.S. District Court in Baltimore to a federal crime for using a telephone to threaten the Washington, D.C.-based LGBTQ+ advocacy group.

Wasn't Jesus pretty against murder?

According to the official Christian records, while Jesus was being arrested, one of his followers chopped off one of the bad guys' ears with a sword. Jesus healed the ear before proceeding with being arrested. (Luke 22:49-51)

Even the Old Testament was quite explicit on the not murdering people.

I would say he was a bit back and forth. Like don't murder people, you can stone these people. And genocide these people. Except save the women for sex. Also, he's gonna commit genocide and flood the earth.

But also, this rule says don't murder people.

Don't murder people unless I tell you to.

I think Duncan Trussell made a video about this... Or some other Bible person. He dubbed a cartoon and it's some guy proclaiming he's gay lol.

And nothing of value was lost.

I know the threats he made were crazy on their own, but for some reason knowing it happened OVER VOICEMAIL seems even wilder…

"You guys going to shoot up our schools now? Is that how it’s going to be? You just gonna kill little kids?"

Funny, they certainly don't seem to have problems with anyone else shooting up schools.

I also like their assumption that the shooting was because the shooter was trans, and not because there was a sex abuser on staff during the period the shooter attended the school, which I think is probably more relevant.

Because "anyone else" always ends up being them. The murderous kill-billies.

“I hate you for confusing me on what I am or am not attracted to and I find it threatening to my world. But instead of dealing with my own feelings I will try to eliminate you from my life to help me avoid this ambiguity of feelings.”

I would love to tell this dude it’s fine to find other adults attractive regardless of gender or identity, but you know his family, friends group, and church would never accept him which plays a part in him thinking this is the only way to deal with this.

~~Tldr: what did he actually do? Like did he plan something?~~

I always find this shit weird because where I lived growing up everyone said "I'm going to kill you." Like parents say it to their kids when they act up.

Edit: nevermind I feel like leaving a voice mail is worse than saying it to someone's face for some reason. Fuck him. It's not even that I would believe his remark, it's just that its so fucking stupid he deserved it haha.

It's been a while since I've checked my old YouTube subscriptions, but this is quite a plot twist for WheezyWaiter

People are too kind to the religious. They need to stop existing.

[–] DevCat 1 points 9 months ago

It all depends upon how you mean "stop existing". At one extreme, it could mean the same way they talk about others. On the other, it means eliminating the belief in the supernatural through proper education in the hard facts and known science. I lean hard toward education as it can spread on its own once established.
