Pretty obvious that western media has a lot of great reasons to misrepresent the truth to keep people such as yourself thinking that disastrous policies western governments are pursuing are actually working.

Yeah, a lot of really efficient configurations evolved through natural selection, so it makes sense to study how nature works for inspiration.

This has nothing at all to do with AI, we're already living in a world filled with misinformation. AI doesn't fundamentally change anything. The reality is that people come up with narratives they want to believe in, and then seek out information that fits in with those narratives.

I imagine advances in communication and transportation technologies play a factor as well, we see things develop at a much faster rate today than they have in the past.

Yeah, US is far behind Russia and China in this tech right now, which makes it all the more bewildering that it continues to escalate towards a conflict with adversaries that now have nuclear first strike capability on US.
