Don't want to be a buzzkiller but what other war was started by attacking Poland besides WW2?
Well, fifty percent of world wars were started by invading Poland, including the most recent one

I started listing them but eventually gave up because it was hard to properly distinguish the wars that started by invaded Poland and the wars that resulted in invading Poland. The problem is that throughout European history, Russia has wanted to invade other parts of Europe, or other parts of Europe have wanted to invade Russia, and Poland's just kind of there. See also: Ukraine (the western half of which was once Poland, much as the southern portion of Poland was once Ukraine)
Well, some times Ukraine is on the way.
