Zuck, in my opinion, wants the entire lives of every human to be on facebook yet wants privacy for his shitty business practices.

Weird that they're only now determined to do something about a problem that Zuck says has existed all along.

Almost as if the real problem - the thing that's changed between the past and today - isn't the fact of the leaks, but their likely content. As if aligning themselves with a deranged psychopath trying to destroy American liberty, justice and democracy through a campaign of hatred and deceit is likely to lead to leaks that will be too damaging to weasel out of.

Zuckerberg told employees he would no longer be as transparent due to leaks. “We try to be really open and then everything I say leaks,” he said. “It sucks."

Every time I tell someone about my evil plans, they act like a hero. I'm going to have to lie more about my evil plans. It sucks.

All the more reason to leak, in my opinion. At the very least do it to spite them

Not sure what the threat is here… usually when you start working for a company there’s a non disclosure so that punishment was always there.

Technically there are whistleblower laws to protect people against following illegal company policies. But, we all know how that works in practice.

I would have been fired from about any company I've worked for if I leaked internal information. Business secrets don't have to be evil, though in Meta's case I'm betting shitloads are.

For example; I'd probably get canned if I told y'all the details on our loss prevention strategy. Because of course?!
