I'd be super careful about invoking that, you might get your citizenship yanked... See Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship:

Under his new definition:

β€œAll persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

If you aren't "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" then you're not a citizen.
