I really like my Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen2! It's not too large and the screen and sound quality is excellent. I got it in a Bundle with the 3rd gen Pen and the Keyboard case for around 450€ from Mediamarkt, but that offer is probably exclusive to Germany. The keyboard is really solid imo, way less spongy than all of the Samsung keyboards I've tried.
Yesterday was pretty awesome, I really enjoyed these vegan sausages :o Very filling meal too, it kept me going most of the day

It's already been pretty interesting to have to rethink some of my eating habits, I wonder how much would change in a whole month with new restrictions ^^
New Year's was always my favorite holiday because I loved setting things on fire, but apparently I'm the kind of person now that gets a panic attack from the loud explosions. It sucks man
But also like, the end of the year is when you have to use up all the vacation days that you can't take into the next year. At my work we get 30 vacation days per year but can only take 12 unused ones into the next year. I had to take Dec 30th-Jan 3rd off because I was still sitting on 15 unused days
What's the biggest reason stopping you from being Vegan?
I think for me it's mostly the social factor. I don't like standing out too much, so I don't think I could really handle being the odd one out when eating with other people, especially people at work who I don't know very well :<
And cheese, I really like cheese.

I've been coming across a lot more 0-score posts in New in the past few days. Weird thing is, most of them have a (sometimes significantly) higher score when I look at them from my lemmy.world account:
Could this be a federation issue? Has anyone noticed the same thing recently?
Might be some weirdness with the community being new. I can't see any posts here with my alt account either :( I'm hoping that it will resolve if given some time for the servers to catch up

Personally the P12 was too large for me to ever really get into the details, but looking at GSM Arena it does seem fairly similar? The only spec of the P12 I'd be iffy about is the USB-C 2.0 instead of 3.0, and I'm not sure how the Mediatek chipset compares. I couldn't find anything about a '23/'24 model on GSM Arena, maybe they would have improved
The specs on the P12 Pro look much more promising, but apparently it was released in September '21 and is stuck on Android 11. If you don't mind that, it might be a decent option too. Wireless charging and a fingerprint sensor seem pretty useful :o
