He also backed Trump because of "rising antisemitism" - failure to Kent State genocide protests at universities.

He looks like Mr Burns.

It makes sense, he clearly worked ~8000x harder than I did. For each hour I limped through labor on my job that absolute unit was doing the equivalent of a year's worth of work with no breaks or sleep.

Oh wait, no he didn't, fuck that rich asshole.

β‰ˆ$186,875 per Blackstone employee

β‰ˆ14,000 jobs at my salary

β‰ˆ59,482 full time min wage workers

If I even made 1/100th of that I’d never work a day in my life again.

[–] Sconrad122 37 points 1 day ago (1 children)

There are people who retire on 1/1000th of that. This man made almost a lifetime's worth of money in the same amount of time it takes most people to get a single good night's sleep. Truly unfathomable wealth hoarding behavior

[–] glimse 31 points 1 day ago

Your point stands but I wanted to do the math

$896,700,000 in a year

= $2,456,712.33 every day

= $818,904.11 every 8 hours

The average salary in the US is $53,490

It would take 15.3 years of working at that salary to make that much money.

The average person works 40 years of their life so their lifetime pay is equal to how much this chucklefuck during 2.6 nights of sleep.

I like how they photoshopped Mr. Burns into this picture.

Wait, there's a Blackrock and a Blackstone?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

Blackstone is private equity; Blackrock is fund management.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

There's also a black rock coffee

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 hours ago

Had to look it up but sure, except it's separate words for Black Rock (Coffee) vs. one word for BlackRock (Investments).

Well. Making heritage automatically go to the state would certainly solve something.

The heritage would go to the states where the money was made if it is big enough, so like more than 1mio and it gets divided into the residencies of the actual shops, companies etc, preventing post box companies on the seychelles.
