No shit. I can guarantee the engineers kept raising concerns over the multitude of issues with the features Musk wanted for this vehicle and that self-absorbed fraud ordered them to do it the way he demands anyway. Because Musk is a (self-proclaimed) rocket scientist expert genius and therefore he knows better than anyone else about everything (according to him).

This monstrosity of a vehicle is what happens when they fail to distract him enough from interfering with the work done by the people in his company who actually know what they're doing.

Elon has bragged that he remotely unlocked it...

And also mentioned that was necessary because it "auto locked" when it exploded like that was a safety feature.

It's Elon tho, so who knows what's just mad ramblings. But he was also talking about recovering video and other privacy issues as well.
