Let me ask you a stupid question: if the rules are available for you to read before you post, and you ignore them for whatever reason, is it really mod abuse when the mods enforce the rules?

No one likes having content removed. It feels shitty. But you have no one to blame but yourself on this one.

Thank you for your 2 cents.

I can cents some sarcasm in your comment.

What's the rule that got broken?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's nostupidquestions, so rule one is legitimate questions only. Makes sense that the post was removed when it was posted to a serious q&a community.

Hello Officer No Fun, the point is that yall take moding lemmy way to fucking seriously as if your life fucking depends on it. I mean, that's kind of ridiculous.

Like 99% of ppl on the planet don't even know this site exist nor do they care.

The audience is so tiny here, it's almost like mods and admins do shit like this for self gratification. Because there aren't like thousands of ppl complaining about posts and content in your communities. You just personally don't like it and are on some weird ass internet power trip.

That post was honestly original and the best I've seen in a while. NSQ community here, most if not all the posts are Luke warm boring uninteresting diarrhea.

Same... A lot of modding seems to be mods don't have real shit to do.

We ain't over flowing with content. Most modding is either censorship or power trips.

Once we get serious volume, I get it.

But this was Christmas eve with regulars shit posting

Can't have that!!!!

The reason I removed your post is because it broke rule #1 of our community (as I noted, and you show in the screenshot).

Rule 1- All posts must be legitimate questions. All post titles must include a question.

All posts must be legitimate questions, and all post titles must include a question. Questions that are joke or trolling questions, memes, song lyrics as title, etc. are not allowed here. See Rule 6 for all exceptions.

As someone else has stated, I'm just enforcing the rules, just like I'd hope you would do here in this community that you mod. Honestly I'm a bit surprised you even posted this here, you should understand enforcing your community rules.

I'm so sorry that happened to you.

This is better be with a heavy dash of irony ~~but this is showing to me as removed by the author, so I am confused~~

At first it said you removed it but then it updated to moderator.

Prolly Federation update was delayed?

Okay but this screenshot is hilarious and “mod abuse rule” would pull serious numbers on 196

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

What is a serious number, in your opinion?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago

Ain't even prime. Fuckin' square-ass number.
