Summary

Indian Americans are poised to play key roles in Trump’s incoming administration, including Kash Patel, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Harmeet Dhillon, marking historic GOP representation.

This shift is attributed to Trump’s anti-China stance, support for India’s Modi right-wing government, and his appeal to wealthy, educated Indian Americans.

Despite Indian Americans traditionally leaning Democratic, their rise has sparked controversy, facing both far-right racism and criticism for supporting policies like anti-immigration stances.

Experts highlight caste privilege and alignment with right-wing ideologies as factors enabling their political ascent.

Fucking no shit Sherlock. High-ranking castes in India absolutely want the caste system to stay, just like all conservatives in all societies. Worse, they want to bring that caste system bullshit here so much so that Seattle had to make a local ordinance actually banning the practice of caste discrimination.

Maybe we should actually be trying to make sure the immigrants we let into our country will actually care about things like democracy, and not just being used by the Republicans so they can seize power and create their own fucking caste system here in the US.

Like no offense to any immigrants, but please leave that backwards shit in your home country. We have enough of our own fucking idiots dragging us down without needing yours, too.
