I see people always hope for a Presidential role for her, but I honestly want her and people like her in these kinds of places instead. Far more power to change things for a longer time.
Given the recent election, I think Democrats needs extroverts, populists (true ones like AOC or Bernie, not fake ones like trump, that only promise but deliver for himself). It looks like people no longer want an establishment.

Maybe not, but wouldn't it be worse to not try? I'm as pessimistic as they come but I don't think giving up is an option either.
I 100% agree. It'll suck to be her, but we need her to ask the questions and take notes. There will be more elections, and if/when Dems are back in power, it sure would be nice to have a record of the immoral, unethical, and illegal shit that the GOP did while in power.
I don't tend to temper my online pessimism, if it's enough to discourage anyone it was going to happen with or without me.
It actually depends on us. If we accept it in advance it will indeed be over.
The book titled On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons From the 20th Century by Prof. Snyder is a must read for today's times.
