More substantively, taking Netanyahu at face value (which you shouldn't do, but for the sake of argument), does this mean the genocide is finally over?

This ceasefire is only for Israel's secondary conflict in Lebanon with Hezbollah. The genocide in Palestine is still ongoing and not likely to stop anytime soon.
What a claim giving footage of Israeli soldiers running crying. Sending US bomb doesn't mean Hizbollah was losing in any form. The literary send multiple rocket over the other day, but of course no one talk about it.
The reality is all military experts made it clear sending troops to Lebanon is a big mistake, and it is not sustainable in any form.
People don't follow the in depth news about what happening, look at the optics, and then draw a conclusion that doesn't make sense.
Hezbollah began firing on Israel in solidarity with Hamas..
