I have 4 RGB+C+W zigbee bulbs like this one: Zigbee RGB+c+w bulb

However after adding it to home assistant, they only show up as c+w bulbs:

What am I doing wrong? How can I get it to detect it as RGB+C+W?

What ZigBee Coordinator do you use? I know deconz and zigbee2mqtt have the ability to add support for new devices via config files. But that's a bit of a rabbit hole into the ZigBee protocol. They also have forums/issue trackers where one can request support for new devices.

I'm using the ZHA connector, these are Tuya bulbs, I've had good success with other Tuya products but alas. ~ Where would I requested support?

There is some documentation in the forum about how to add new device support or where to request it. Read it and then decide what to do.

I found someone who, just yesterday, submitted a device support request for my exact model! The request is here, I'll watch it for a bit.

If this is one of the new ThirdReality bulbs, they allegedly need an OTA update accordong to an amazon review or two. Mine is coming in tomorrow so I'll report back.

They are from aliexpress, perhaps they are still the same thing?

Not super likely, and I don't think I'd expect updates from Tuya directly unfortunately. What the other person was saying about getting it supported through ZHA is likely your best bet.

Listings say Zigbee Bulb Smart Hub Required.

I'm using ZHA as the smart hub
