Well, most normal products are made to be useful. Regarding sale, they are meant to sell themselves because they are useful.
Then there are some kinds of products that need professional sellers (industrial machines, 'special' brands of kitchenware...). But here it is restricted to the person Elon, yes, he himself. If he believes in it, he makes it, and everything else does not count.
