The historical trend holds that the market is going to be exceptionally volatile for a month or so after a presidential election, and then it corrects.
These folks almost certainly had some kind of insider info, but if you're an average joe investor, it's not the best time to be making stock decisions.
It's almost like a primary function of the state is serving capital. Who'd a thunk?
