Okay, so I never thought I would truly see someone abuse their phone like this. I thought it was a crazy accusation that people made to defend the durability of their favorite phone. However, my coworker has a Galaxy S21 ultra and it looks like a car ran over it. I know he has the dropsies with it but yesterday at lunch time he had a slice of pizza that was in a paper bag. He sat down, put his phone on the bag. He realized it was in the way of getting to his slice, and he just flicks his phone face first onto the concrete like it was normal and sat back to eat his pizza leaving the phone on the ground. I know this isn't technical stuff about rooting and custom roms but I wanted to vent. Lol.

Some people....lol.

I've got a "tough" phone that's made for construction workers and such, but I still baby it because I want it to look nice.

I have a foldable and I treat it like it's my child. I never dropped it and I clean it constantly. I can't imagine throwing it on the concrete and leaving it there.

That seems like wild disregard. Reminds me of a former friend who would chuck trash out the window with disregard and acted like the world was his personal dump. He thought he was super cool for not caring about anything, and eventually I stopped hanging out with him because it was gross. But idk, he could have been trying to get a ruse out of you or maybe he was just brought up that way.

I hate when people chuck their trash out the window or in my building people will leave their garbage in the hallway for someone else to pick up. 😡

Growing up with too much available goods makes people like this. People throw away food like it's nothing, it was only a matter of time until people did this with phones.

I've used my Kyocera Brigadier as a hammer on wood and plastics before.

It also really upsets people when I rap it on a table or throw it at the wall to show how tough it is.

Had it for five years, maybe a little more. Battery is getting weak. Needs a factory reset. Storage is 96% used. Keeps on working, it fits in my pocket, no case required.

I have one in a box somewhere, I should pull it out again, but I can't get over how little storage it has

i do that when my phones reach that level, which i havent reached in a couple years. its just at that point where its so broken that its indestructible, and that's the best point.
