Probably not, not the genre that's as popular as it was. But I liked Dawn of War better.

Og dawn of War was fantastic. Dow 2 made me sad that bases were basically gone. Then they made it seem like 3 was going to do 1 + 2... and it was somehow even worse.
I don't know what you're talking about DoW2. I liked the Risk type game. But DoW3, where they tried to mimic the real time Blizzard thing, it sucke, really bad.
That whole map conquer thing from... soulscream? I forget what expansion it was for Dawn of War 1. Was and still is some of my most time played, they've added so many mods you've got almost any army you could want. In 2 just playing company of heros felt like a downgrade... I want an army! And yes 3 sucked.
No, the one before it, when I used The Tau without the shit Dark Eldar to walk the map. ;)

Agreed. The art style made it all much more brutal a la Diablo. SC2 had fun new units but it was too cartoony.
