Idk why, but the red coloring of his eyes make him look really demonic

Marie de Medici would probably agree with you.

Humans have advanced far but hardly changed.

Why do they look like monsters I would have to face in a Resident Evil game?

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Well, knowing Catholicism, I would bet on him being a monster. Most likely worse than the ones in RE.

Japanese young adult media takes a lot of inspiration from religion, including old european one. Just how many times do you have to kill god in japanese games..

Is it that small or why are there only low resolution images?

Is that a bed pan filled with milk? That's naaasty

[–] [email protected] 24 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

That's definitely NOT a bedpan, it's way too shallow. I've seen pewter bowls shaped like that for displaying fruit, but in my head canon it's for Communion wafers.

Here's a similar one: https://amusespot.com/products/wide-rimmed-bowl-by-match-pewter?variant=37212784522

I mean if they don’t use it for anything else it’s just a funky food bowl for the cats

Cardinal Richelieu, the antagonist of The Three Musketeers?

[–] njm1314 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Pretty sure he's considered the antagonist for basically almost half a century of History too

[–] WeaselOne 3 points 1 month ago

I swear I didn't know that he was real.

No wonder the musketeers kept getting away with it

The mouseketeers, however...
