Mara Jade is in Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi which will forever be complete and inarguable canon just like the Holiday Special.

Nixie tubes were replaced by the multi-segment LED displays for numbers for many of those use cases where the numerals needed to glow. Think the last four decades of clock radios, TV channel number displays after mechanical channel knobs but before they removed the bezel stuff and put it all on the screen itself, etc.
I love those little pockets, probably extremely useful back when a coin or three could be a day's lunch and/or transit money.
And like with the Rolling Stones, I tend to like Bob Dylan's songs much more when it's someone else covering them.
The ones in jail didn't have the brilliant idea to bury the granting of explicit legal permission to steal one's data in a horrendously long user agreement the victim is forced to click "yes" on before their computer works at all.
Thank goodness for the scribbles, otherwise I might have learned who wrote this thing I liked and we can't have that.
