This is a collection of things that I find interesting.

Mainly, mainly it's a place for me to post into the void for my own trail of hyperlinks.

People have different names for the colors they see. Language can affect how we memorize and name colors. This is a color naming test designed to measure your personal blue-green boundary.

I think my problem is that I firmly have a "teal" category which I can't call green OR blue. As in, I would get in an argument for someone calling it one way or the other.

I had the same issue when I tried this the other day! There's a big "neither/both" gap that I wish it accounted for. But I suppose it's not really the point of this particular test. Would be interesting to measure that somehow, though!

Having worked with printers a lot my first thoughts were, neither that's cyan. But having to choose I got 174.

Interesting, about halfway through i stopped being able to recognize a difference.

Same. I think that's the point. It narrows it down.

Haven’t tried it out yet, but I’ve fantasized about this tool for so long! My wife has a different cultural background and what she calls blue vs what she calls green blows my mind on a regular basis

171, but like others, after halfway, most looked blueish green or greenish blue which I would categorize as neither green nor blue, and I had to pick one, so I just picked what maybe looked like the dominant color? Idk how trustworthy my results are.
