And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

Facebook is basically a modern street corner I suppose. What a jackass.

For just 10% of your annual income YOU TOO can become this self righteous!

Oh boy prosperity gospel! It's like a pyramid scheme for the ~~gullible~~ faithful but without all the middlemen!

Pro tip: God has even less need for money than he does a starship.

I don't even want to know what that guy says to that poor kid about their mom.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago (2 children)

They aren't any better. She invited them and they freaking refused. Both!

Fire up a private browsing tab and pull up the YouTube channel for that church. You might quickly gain some sympathy for mom and nana just from the titles of the videos. I didn’t have it in me to actually watch one.

We don't know why they refused though. It could be because this is some sort of horrible indoctrination school.

Florida Man (of god) you say? I am intrigued. I wonder what their potluck looks like.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)

He's pretty chubby so it's got lots of heart attack food of course.

I wonder if the meth cook-off is a separate event.

Florida Man of God....

Do they not know?

[–] EndlessApollo 13 points 4 months ago

Sleep with one eye open or Florida Man of God might get you

Funny how the "unsaved mom" thing is an issue with him now that they have a child, but when his peepee saw her bewbs that was no problem whatsoever so he still stuck it in.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon 1 points 4 months ago

I bet he tells the kid her mom is going to hell.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 months ago

lol, that flex on how many of the 10 commandments can he break in one go.

Call child services. Undoubtedly, this person is doing something that would warrant removing custody of this unfortunate child.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon 6 points 4 months ago

In Florida I think they encourage this kind of parenting.

[–] TexasDrunk 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I want to know where that link goes but I don't want to pull it up.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Just a video of kids singing at church, his among them.

[–] TexasDrunk 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Much better than what I imagined. Appreciate you!

This guy is the biggest asshole I've ever found on Facebook without question.

[–] RBWells 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Oh thank God, he is in New Port Richey not Tampa proper. I was thinking we are usually pretty level headed here in the city. Get out of here, dude. You are not anywhere near the bay.

New Port Richey is a cesspool. Don't call the CPS there, I am pretty sure it was their facility that lost Eckerd Services the state contract for foster care.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Florida and level headed in one sentence surprises me. Is it really like that?

[–] RBWells 2 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Yeah it's diverse as heck here and moderately progressive like any city. St Pete too. Good library system, great food, until recently shockingly good schools, that was a big change from when I was a school kid. Those are getting worse again now. Downtown is nice now, even.

Terrible public transportation though. So, therefore , crowded and dangerous roads.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon 1 points 4 months ago

That's cool. I thought the big cities must be good.
