Just more FSD / Summon Bullshit, showing off how bad Tesla's sensor suite actulaly is.

As documented on Twitter, the owner used Tesla’s Summon feature to remotely back their Model Y into a parking space, but the car didn’t detect low section of garage, resulting in the Tesla breaking its own back window.

He disabled the safety feature specifically in place to avoid problems like this:

Just a day before the incident, I flipped the setting where you don’t have to hold the button down on my phone. So after I summoned it the first time and I walked away. I accidentally pressed it again and then all I heard was a big POP.

Of course, I expected the owner to be a moron. He owns a Tesla.

It's practically a given.

A badly made car doing something stupid due to bad design? From a company ran by a manchild? 😱

Mostly true but there's a new dummy in the system: the owner disabling the manual supervision setting that requires you hold a button down for it to continue operation

How is it bad? Because it's not completely flawless and idiot-proof like the competition? FSD 12.5 is pretty fucking impressive if you ask me..

Is this why most Tesla drivers back into spots? I have been wondering why the hell they do that.

Oh well, buy another one.

Whoever decided that cars should be treated like phones should be forced to beat to death the guy that decided phones should be disposable
