What do y'all like? Get as granular and varied into genres as you want!

To start, I like: Punk, HxC, D-beat, d-trakt, metal, grindcore, sludge, stonermetal, jungle dnb, hardstyle, hardbass, pre-00 country, americana, blues, jazz, western, noise, anti-music, -gaze both shoe and zoomer, and many more!

If I start posting weird shit in here like Julie, or Vince Gill, or Ernest Tubb lmao, will y'all run me out of town or are y'all cool?

Random Access Memories by Daft Punk is my favorite album of all time.

Recently, I've been listening to Ænima by TOOL.

I could listen to anything by A Devil Makes Three.

Grace by Jeff Buckley ranks pretty highly for me.

Spotify has a playlist called "Songs To Test Headphones With" that I like a lot.

In general, I like anything with a lot of sounds and layers to groove to.

And Judas is my Priest

I see metal fans here which is cool. Some prog rock/metal mentions too which is even cooler.

Definitely post weird stuff. Please. Weird is my jam. Other people might down vote it, but who cares?

I'm all over the board as far as stuff that I like. Various types of extreme metal is what I most frequently have going. I've been trying to post a wide variety of different stuff in this group. To me, a general music group is by definition open to a broad variety of sounds. I haven't taken things into the noise territory as of yet under the assumption that not a lot of people would be into it, but I'd love to see some of that as well.

I'd considered starting a new group centered around more fringe music. The metal community is fairly active, and this group is active. So that's cool. There's just some stuff that's just inherently and obviously less accessible that it'd be nice to give a home with the idea that your expecting something a bit more challenging at the outset. I may end up doing that, but I also may need to figure out different instance to base it out of if I do.

Yo, if you want to start a band or make some tunes I'm down. I can sing. I've got a mic. It's not A-grade but it'll work for noise.

I listen to predominantly jam bands, hip hop, and rock/metal from 60's - 90's. I think jam band stuff is really the only music that I listen to newer than the 90's though. I do like a bit of jamtronica kinda stuff from time to time though, and have no idea what half of what you listed even is (ugh I'm old).

I used to listen to anything I could sing. But now, it's predominantly instrumentals. And this is going sound brazen and haughty af but I like just about anything as long as it sounds "good" and tends to have some weight to it. But if it's fluff, I want it to really lean into the fluff and own it. I used to be obsessed with music, but it's really become a blip in the sea of my life nowadays =_o!

I listen to Dim when I want to focus.
Orpheus Odyssey when I want to calm down.
Rocc when I want to have a good think.
Pineapples when I want to have a good bad sing =)!
*Ritviz when I want something with singing in the background that doesn't distract me too much.

I also like certain video game soundtracks.

I enjoy xenharmonic music and modern academic music the most, but I'm not familiar with everything there, so any recommendations are welcome if you, reader, have something in your mind.
