  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

The media needs to be evaluated for its lack of covering the lies Trump told during that first debate.

I know, I know debates are more about selling yourself to the population.

But if that selling is built apon a mountain of lies, how can you trust the seller to honor his part of the deal?

You can't. I hope more people realize whats at stake.

Project 2025 is a blueprint for a fascist takeover.

The entire world should fear this because fascists do not stay in their borders. They are talking about mass conscription, and I guarantee they will have zero qualms at sending your kids off to die like Russia.

Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.

No argument that he's not a great choice. But we're not being given a way to make another choice, unless it's to vote for Trump. And if you want to go down that rabbit hole of health and mental issues...sure, it's a whataboutism. What about it?

The hope is that he steps down as the nominee for the good of the country and thus improves our chances of beating Trump.

That "having a chance to beat Trump" is even something said these days is insane.

Imagine a parallel world where there are two or more candidates for leadership who argue over the ideas to better the country and world, and all of them have their valid points. Where the difficulty is in figuring out who is a better choice, but even the worst winning would be okay.

I mean ever now and then I think we could have had that.

"How did it come to this?" Yeah, Theoden, I get it.

Joe Biden needs to sleep well, relax, go on whole foods-plant diet while reducing alcohol caffeine sodium and sugar intake.
