Greentext

This is a place to share greentexts and witness the confounding life of Anon. If you're new to the Greentext community, think of it as a sort of zoo with Anon as the main attraction.

Be warned:

If you find yourself getting angry (or god forbid, agreeing) with something Anon has said, you might be doing it wrong.

These comments are more enjoyable than the greentext itself

I genuinely don't understand why you would subscribe to a community about 4chan greentexts and not expect to see shocking language. Its like going to the beach and being upset that theres sand.

It's why there's a big warning on the sidebar that says "Beware: sometimes Anon says bad words or things that are unhealthy. We're here to laugh at Anon, not agree or get angry."

If there only was a way not to read screenshots from one of the most racist websites on earth only to find gasp racism. Sadly there is none.

I didn't understand what shocking language you were referring to until I read the other comments. I'd never seen that P word before.

The community seems split on this one lol. Makes me think that some of the people who subscribed to this community literally don't know what a greentext is. Which is nothing new; I made this months ago:

Personally, it takes the fun out of creating OC because I like making edgier memes but there's no community for it here. And even if something does make people laugh and get upvoted, the mods will take it down. (For example, I made a meme about a pregnant alcoholic mother and it got taken down. Like really? We can't make abortion jokes?) So fuck it, I mainly just repost now. If you can't beat em join em.

It seems like some people who aren't familiar with greentexts don't quite get the point of the community. You read the ramblings of Anon like you would watch animals at the zoo, which is different than endorsing everything Anon says.

And you shouldn't. Anon is usually deranged.

Some bad words and unhealthy opinions are bound to make an appearance. In that case, you're supposed to be dumbfounded at how Anon thinks/acts, shake your head, and maybe get a guilty chuckle out of it. Like the sidebar says, if you're getting angry while reading these, you're probably doing it wrong.

Anyone else expected this to.. go somewhere? Like have an outcome?

[–] shneancy 161 points 4 days ago (1 children)

lack of a conclusion makes it more likely to be true. Fiction usually has a conclusion, life usually doesn't

[–] [email protected] 51 points 4 days ago (4 children)

Life always has a conclusion 💀

Eh, I have a 100% immortality rate at present.

Based on all available evidence from the course of my life so far, the data clearly shows a 0% death rate. Current trends expected to hold while data collection available.

Funny enough, the greatest blessing in India simply adds the words "in law"

[–] [email protected] 41 points 3 days ago (1 children)

At least a couple of Kitboga’s calls have originated in India, but all the characters he plays are as upstanding as they come. Except for this one time at Dave & Buster's. Kit:

  • never wishes for the plague
  • always respects all varieties of English
  • always respects that not everyone calling everyone else is US-based
  • never uses slurs, and Kit’s
  • never gonna give you up

Kitboga’s “more Kitboga” channel has gotten me through so many work days. He’s one of the most insanely funny and talented dudes I’ve never seen.

Reading this thread I realized that I had no idea what that word meant, figured it was a particular kind of scam.

[–] [email protected] 25 points 3 days ago

A slur for indians pretty sure

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

wiktionary has suprisingly good info on it https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/pajeet

tl;dr: yes, it's a slur

If an Arabic speaker is bothering you, simply tell them "Kos Omak"

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 days ago (4 children)

What does this one mean? And is it pronounced how it's written???
