Soooo doesthat mean I can get my medicine sooner than the two months it takes to refill?

Is that just an Adderall-class thing? Because my daughter is on a Ritalin-class drug and we seem to be able to get it refilled pretty quickly here, but she's only been on it a short time and we've only had to order one refill. Are we lucky so far? Should we try to make some sort of preparations with her psychiatrist?

There were rolling shortages of methylphenidate as well, largely because of Adderall shortages pushing people to methylphenidate. But I haven’t had a problem for a while.

Probably. Only reason I have some is because I don't use on weekends and holidays so I don't build a tolerance so I have a few month supply but now I'm running out. You can't set up an auto-refill or refill in advance or order online When I go to refill, it takes another 2 months before stock becomes available. Good luck finding a pharmacy because your prescription can only be filled by the drug store it was originally filled at without having to fill out a shitload of paperwork. On top of that, I called every pharmacy within king count WA (2.2 million population) and everyone said they were on backorder.

Ruthia He, the founder and CEO of the subscription-based “digital health company” Done, and the company’s clinical president, David Brody, “exploited emergency flexibilities during the [covid-19] public health emergency to provide easy access to Adderall and other stimulants that were not for a legitimate medical purpose,” the Department of Justice claims.

The two executives were arrested and indicted for distributing controlled substances, conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, and other charges. This is the first time the DOJ has charged someone with criminal drug distribution related to their involvement in a telehealth company. The DOJ and DEA began investigating Cerebral, another telehealth company, in 2022. Four months after news of the Cerebral investigation went public, The Wall Street Journal reported that the DEA was also investigating Done.

According to the indictment filed on Thursday in California’s Northern District, He and Brody “conspired to defraud pharmacies and Medicare” by prescribing Adderall and other stimulants to patients who didn’t have ADHD.
