I find it interesting that unlike the other meme sites like Ten Forward and Star Wars Memes, Chevron7 doesn't have to invent dialog and situations to make a funny meme.

Chevron 7 users only needs to screen cap the show itself to have a great meme.

One of my top posts here is made-up dialog. But yeah, Stargate tends to have more straight-up jokes than those other sci-fi shows.

Babel fish. Incidentally another proof of the non existence of god, same as the goa'uld

i think thats an age thing - star trek communities have been around longer. theyve already been through all the dialogue memes. especially star wars prequel/sequel memes

The difference between American sci-fi and Canadian sci-fi.

You know, I don't think I have ever seen a show that pulled off being self aware as SG1. For example, this may or may not be a line from the show because it is absolutely something she would say.

Never underestimate your audience. They're generally sensitive, intelligent people who respond positively to quality entertainment.

I like the episode with the barber who tells everyone stories about SG1, and they get bored because "how many times can SG1 save the world from Apophis?"

I also like the ending where it turns out O'Neill has been having visions of a random barber's life and he thought nothing of it.

Wow, that laptop was my family's computer growing up. Star Gate nostalgia hits different here.
