Helldivers when they learn all the guns are meant to be sidegrades:

I’d still expect a sidegrade to have some noticeable difference to it. Otherwise they are just slapping skins on the liberator.

Going to bat for arrowhead here even though they don't deserve it for what they did to my slugger and the eruptor.

The concussive has a stun effect for cc. The penetrator trades damage for armor pen. They aren't interchangeable. The adjudicator is a thing on its own and is basically a better harder hitting penetrator. Should've stayed a DMR for balance reasons.

So this new rifle has a way faster fire rate than any other primary so far. I assume it has a bigger mag than normal, maybe at the cost of damage. It would fill the purpose of a suppression weapon if suppression actually works as it does in other games (more bullets more suppression) so you could very easily cover a retreat or advance. Also works as a bug chaff sprawdown like the stalwart.

Now I could be totally wrong and this thing has 30 rounds and normal damage and that would be the worst idea ever, but we'll see I guess.

I believe the bot troopers have reduced accuracy if you are firing at them. I don't know if it scales based on amount of rounds over a period of time.

They do. The rifle really is just a faster firing liberator though.

If they could grasp the concept of different guns performing different roles, they'd be much happier.

(Though someone let me know if you'd actually run the penetrator over the adjudicator. I think changing it from a DMR was a mistake).

Liberator Ricochet (bouncy bullets)

Liberator Sonic (concussive waves)

Liberator Liberty (fires sparkly rounds and plays music)

Liberator Hollow Point (additional damage to soft targets)

Liberator Destructor (fires acidic rounds)

Liberator Sub zero (freezes enemies on hit, slowing them down. It may increase the computation speed of bots though)

Liberator Scorpion (fires a grappling book that pulls your enemies close while saying "get over here")

Liberator Classic (you'd think this is the same liberator as normal, but it actually has more sugar and less caffeine)

Liberator Oppressor (has 96 small caliber rounds per magazine to suppress your target)
