That looks better than my view, unfortunately. Total cloud cover rolled in 10 minutes before totality.

This is what it would have looked like to my bare eyes but my phone’s camera was like oh no you don’t. Was this with a phone?

Thin clouds actually make it nice in a way, when you can see it through the clouds without burning your eyes. I remember in 2015 this happened. My parents refused to buy me eclipse glasses because they thought it was a waste.
