This has been the best Star Wars related show that Disney has done, better than Mando imo.

This is the best Star Wars Star Wars has ever done period in my opinion. I like the more human stuff rather than the "hero of destiny" stuff in general though.

There are single lines of dialogue in Andor that set my brain on fire more than some entire seasons of other shows.

Way better, in my opinion Andor and Rogue One is the best Star Wars content that Disney have produced.

I can't get my friends to watch it. If they can do another good season maybe people will jump on the bandwagon

Honestly I was the same when Andor came out, I completely dismissed it because of the shite Disney was at, especially with the Obi-Wan show, couldn't even finish that it was so bad. It wasn't until a mate of mine recommended it and explained how good it was compared to everything else. Decided to give it a shot and by the second episode I was hooked.

It's supposed to wrap up next season. Apparently they originally planned to tell each year leading up to Rogue One as a season, but they decided to condense them down to three episode arcs each. I just hope they don't rush it too much.

I've been trying so hard to get my friends to watch it, but it's tough getting past the sequels

Well done. It's cool how Andor and Rogue One are the best Star Wars has put out in recent years, and they're both connected very closely.

Good for them! Well-deserved. Andor was not only some of the best Star Wars content of the last few years, but it was one of the best TV shows of the last few years in general.

Such a good show, way better then the mandelorian in my opinion but I'm also not a huge star wars fan

I'm honestly shocked that Andor made it past the Mouse in terms of themes and messaging. It's a return to the more political messaging that Lucas himself makes a point of referencing in many interviews. Unlike a lot of Disney's MCU properties, Andor actually takes political stances that aren't exactly in the mainstream or otherwise inexplicable. $MCU_villain makes a lot of sense, and then randomly does something unforgivable to reinforce that leftist=bad and that merely maintaining the neoliberal status quo is most moral thing to do, whereas Andor's messaging is much more radical ("one way out").

Alongside a strong political and moral stance, Andor draws on the space-opera origins of Star Wars as opposed to the grounded sci-fi of Trek. It embraces the dramatic monologue through characters like Luthen and Kino, and empathizes character-driven elements rather then the plot-first, explanations-later approach of the Sequels. It feels closer to early-season Game of Thrones than shows like the Witcher, which also suffered from "theme park" syndrome where the universe only exists to further a singular plot. All in all, Andor had a fantastic season 1, and gives me some hope for the future of Star Wars.

Good for the cast and crew. Andor is a great series and the nominations are well-deserved.

I'm kinda peeved Andy Serkis and Diego didn't get a nod for individual awards

When Andor came out i had just had wrist reconstruction and the tendons to my elbow reattached, i watched it so high on my kite i have no idea what really happened. I want to go back and rewatch it but my wife really didn't enjoy .
