TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Laris who? It's this some sort of character that's important to the story or something?
The former Tal Shiar agent, housekeeper, and will they/won't they love interest built up in prior seasons? Not really, I guess.
That was a weird side story to the series .... everyone knows how old Picard is (as well as the real life Patrick Stewart) and they feel that the Picard character needs to have a love interest but they don't really know how to wedge that in. It's weird because it's getting to feel like some sort of religious experience where everyone regards the Picard character so highly, almost to a god like level, that no one can really imagine him being part of a relationship with another woman or person. The arcing story has him in a relationship with Crusher but that is something that happened in a backstory and never watched as part of any series. He had a relationship behind closed doors and it was all forgotten about and never mentioned until now.
There are people that want the love story .... others who feel that that story is long past the point of a man's old age ... and others who can't/don't want to imagine Picard being with someone. So it all just hangs in some strange limbo where no one acknowledges the past yet the love story is never allowed to continue.
The life story of the Picard character is really leading up to the Shakespearean 'Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all'
ye :c...
orla brady could be seen in doctor who s7 final episode as the mother superious tasha lem
She and 11 had great chemistry for those few scenes together.
