Mostly a lot of monitors and tablets, be interesting to get some cheap gear but wouldn't want to give the guy a dime.

If you live by a major university, they likely have property disposition where you can pick up slightly older equipment, sometimes for super cheap.
A lot of them now just work through third-party houses like govdeals.com.
Is there a UK equivalent?
