In my personal experience, Eppendorf pipettes are more accurate, but god damn Gilson Pipetman is so much better to use. Plus you can use them to measure volume, you can’t do that with Eppendorf.

It's a micropipette.

They do look like all the fun to play with. I mean, it's the mixing of a pipette and a retractable pen, it can not be non-fun. But some people go way overboard and start to claim it's a life-saving object that made handling fluids safe, completely ignoring the pipette vacuum-pumps people have been using for God knows how long. (Has it been a century already? I have no idea what was their first iteration.)

Tbh once I started using electronic pipettes I cannot go back. They are so good

I once swiped a nice micropipettor from our college lab (later returned.) To this day, I can't figure out what I thought I'd do with it. I'm pretty sure I just for so jazzed about how much fun they are that I had to have it...
