I always thought they were made from gelatin or something similarly biodegradable. Guess I won’t be buying any more pods.

So much for "dissolving" in water, huh?

But for real every single time I used one of these I always ended up with a melted piece of plastic stuck to one of the pieces of clothes I washed. Stopped using them because of that.

i also thought they just dissolved...

this is still not as bad as "flushable wipes" that are rather explicitly not flushable. i still can't believe they are allowed to advertise/sell like that. (they claim it means it doesnt clog the toilet, which is technically true)

Yep. It's really not a big deal to use liquid or powder detergent.

Same. I started finding plastic melted to the side of my washing machine and stopped.

I’ve been pestering my wife that I want to switch back to powder for the dish washer and liquid for the clothes washer.

This will likely make me insist.
