These were taken with a s2+uv. I recently recieved a d1uv but it has a much more intense hotspot

That is how bees eyes see flowers. They dont see red, they see UV.

Correct yes I'm actually a beekeeper also but most insects see in the infrared and uv spectrums I believe.
