~~Wait a second, that's just two-point perspective again! OP, how could you lie to everyone?~~

I'm a dumb

Where's the third point? I only count 2

[–] [email protected] 6 points 7 months ago

It's at the bottom, slightly outside of the frame. If you continue the vertical lines that would be parallel you intersect there (e.g. the slim building in the front). The same way you can reach the points on either side.

The bottom of the middle sky scraper, and the two vanishing points of the skyline

Okay, you're right. I've failed myself today

[–] [email protected] 6 points 7 months ago (1 children)

We all have our ups and downs. May this be the lowest point you've ever reached.

I'm neurodivergent. This ain't even my lowest today. But thank you and I agree with the sentiment

Bro I'm struggling with it too. It just looks like long 2 point to me lol

I don't remember the last time I saw a BSOD. Thanks

Is that what they look like now? They used to have cool system font and cryptic error codes and memory addresses 🤣

Ya, pretty much that. I put in a bad GPU yesterday and saw about 6 frowny faces.

If you use an Insider build, reserved for the most daring of tech-savvy beta testers, you get a different screen.

It's green.

Now do 4 point perspective?

[–] RIP_Cheems 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Fuck that, give me 16 point perspective.

Bad template

Working with orthographic projection on a 3D model makes me nauseous to the point of wanting to vomit

[–] uis 3 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Engieneers sometime work in orthographic projection. Stuff of same size have same size on screen

[–] [email protected] 2 points 7 months ago

We only work on orthographic! Specifically isometric.

My brain just can't handle it

[–] CrayonRosary 2 points 7 months ago (1 children)

That's... odd. I use it exclusively. Perspective feels so wrong since it distorts angles.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 7 months ago

I have no idea why, but it genuinely feels awful to me, comparable to motion sickness
