The Sunday school teacher is out. Good thing a substitute is available: Satan!

SATAN'S GUIDE TO THE BIBLE is an animated documentary. Join Satan as he shares Bible secrets, secrets the students' pastor learned at Christian seminary but is afraid to share. Thankfully, Satan's not afraid of losing his job.

FYI: I'm not the author, just spreading the word because this video took 10 years to make and is exceptionally well made.

Where is the actual facts behind his claims? They're all reasonableish but with our the actual historical records it's just God said, dark lord said.

It is amazingly maid though.

There are some GREAT arguments to be made against Christianity/Judaism/Islam (+ offshoots like Mormonism, etc.) - unfortunately this video uses none of them. I actually find it really odd that they used such good production technicals, yet seemed to ignore the content?

I mean, the story of Joseph is one of the most famous biblical stories of all time, so to claim that little children do not understand that Canaan is where the ancient Israelites came from before they went INTO Egypt, long before they later (were said to have) came OUT from it, is what is known as a "straw-man" argument at worst, or at best is extremely trivial, b/c little children don't tend to know much of anything, really?

Yes, biblical scholars have known that little tidbit for thousands of years, before there even was a b-i-b-l-e, and yes some of the less well educated children today might not know about some minor facet even of a major story like the exodus. Both statements are true... and yet so what?

Some are referenced by their bible chapter and verse in the video. The in-depth archaeological or historical claims will need to reference the authors’ books that the authors themselves quote in the video.

These aren’t wild claims - as the eponymous guide says, these things are all taught in Seminary. (Note: Evangelical Bible Colleges won’t tell you these things though. Due to the “inerrant”-ness. And if evangelical stuff is your thing, good luck)

Example: Jesus thought he was part of the last generations of humans before the apocalypse. But, yeah, no.

You're gonna have to ask that in the youtube comments I'm afraid.

The “Christian music” was annoying, but the video was well done. Thanks!
