I looked up 1099a, it seems to have something to do with collecting debts on abandoned property... Not sure how you would use that to pay your mortgage?

Every new thing I hear about these people amazes me... Do they just get random forms from the IRS and pretend anyone will think it's worth something?

They don't just get random forms from the IRS, they actually create their own forms and submit them!
