If the American voters didn't believe all bad things that happen in the country are directly caused by the current president, then this kind of thing would backfire.

you want to blame someone start looking into the richest americans, that will bring you closer. money is power too.

The “smartest” thing those who desire to capture power ever did was convince people their president was an all-powerful king and then tell them to fight for their king to win

you mean the king (the royal guard if you will), kings can always be overthrown
