After years of reddit/twitter/facebook propping up fascism/bigotry with algorithms & bots I'm honestly surprised and relieved to be in an online space that clearly rejects their ideology.

They can have reddit/facebook/twitter. AFAIC the only way to reach some of these people is to leave them alone long enough to realize on their own.

Lemmy.world admins are doing an amazing job dealing with everything. Their recent decision to defederate from exploding heads (or whatever its called) really goes to show that they're in it for the right reasons.

Totally forgot about The_Donald, probably because I blocked that shit straight away! I never really noticed /r/conservative, I don't think it's on /r/all?

I was on a bunch of hate-watch subs and once accidentally posted a response to r/conservative instead of the reporting sub, and got instantly banned. Apparently this was a common occurrence.

I was permanently banned from posting in /r/conservative for a post I made in /r/politics 😂

Glad to know I'm still living rent free in their heads all these years later .

You may have blocked conservative too. It was basically the same stuff.

There were a few subs they congregated on. I was on the unpopular opinions sub but had to leave because of all the radical right wing opinions that kept popping up with overwhelming support.

They are, and I love to peek in on them every time the GOP or Trump steps in some shit, the amount of denial, whataboutism, "brigaded!", infighting, and deleted comments is just so so tasty. Seriously if you need a good chuckle today check out the thread on that leaked audio where he waves war plans around to impress a biographer saying "This is secret. Look, look at it. I could have declassified, but now I can't."
