For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

...you do realize that he wants you to point and laugh at him, right? As much as I think that man is an idiot only held aloft by being able to buy his way into companies that are successful without him (and despite him for a time), he's smart enough to know how to manipulate the average internet user to spread his dumb bullshit around so it pulls in other dumbasses who will lap up whatever turd he drops today.

I was listening to a Hard Fork, the NYT tech podcast and they made a good point. Billionaires like him can have anything they want, so they have nothing else to chase for other than the high of people reacting to their antics.
