A bookshelf acts as the opening mechanism for a nearby door colored like a rainbow. An easy puzzle that will fit into most TTRPG games!

Love it. Simple & elegant.

To build on the idea, if a bookshelf doesn't fit the vibe of the area you could use light hitting crystal prisms that put out color, that the party could rotate to get the right color alignment or have them shine their light on the door or a spot on the wall or floor.
