Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.

The following things are not grounds for murder:

  1. Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
  2. Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
  3. No bigotry of any kind.
  4. Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
  5. If you break the rules you’ll get one warning before you’re banned.
  6. Enjoy the community in the light hearted way it’s intended.

So at this point it's clear you don't actually know what you're talking about since you're just listing grocery assistance programs even though I just outlined their shortcomings. I truly hope you never have a night on the streets

I mean- I get where you are coming from- but it is actually pretty easy to get on SNAP (foodstamps). They just outright give you a card to use only for food. Like 400usd (more if you have a kid). I personally don't get it but I have helped others get on it. I also couldn't eat 400 usd worth of food a month.

Is snap really that easy to apply for? I was looking into it a while ago and I thought you had to provide proof of income (or lack thereof) and shit. Maybe I need to change my viewpoint here

You do need to provide proof of income (or lack thereof). It's not hard to do. Also don't have more than 3k in your bank account. Which if these things are true then you are the exact people SNAP is for. Basically if you go to your local human resources office (or create an account online) you just fill out the application and provide the asked for documents.

That sounds like what I remember. Which isn't a prohibitive amount of work, but for the individuals that snap is for it's likely closer than many of us realize
