Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

It's ALWAYS been like that. Back in the early 90s a kid emailed the white house a threat as a joke...the FBI showed up at the school the next day.
It's always been a crime to threaten the president. Half of Congress gets away with it because they're rich...but us poor bastards that are still subject to laws should expect repercussions for illegal acts.
Half of Congress just dog whistles to their fanbase to do shit like we see in this exact post. With a couple of notable exceptions, they are generally not dumb enough to make direct threats themselves. (I think Cawthorn directly told a group of pro-Turnip supporters to make threats and such.)
Do you understand that we have to execute arrest warrants to prosecute someone? Like I don't see what disconnect you have in this situation.
Why is it such a a leap that a man who has made threats against someone would act violently towards law enforcement?
Why do you think that the FBI is more likely to have killed him in cold blood executing lawful, legal warrants than the above?
It wasn't just Biden, I take it you haven't seen his Facebook yet?
FAFO
You trust a right wing nut over the FBI?
Sounds like they're a Trump supporter.
The FBI and regular police have very different standards. I definitely think this should be fully investigated like any use is force, but I have more faith that the FBI handled this appropriately than of it had been a local PD department.
