Freeland was a too big defender of Trudeau to have a chance to compete with Poilievre

I feel like she's trying hard to distance herself from Trudeau, but after years being right beside him, I doubt she can shake it that easily.

No matter what she does, a huge amount of the country are not that plugged in and won’t know.

Plus she’s competing against Trump for headlines, so her reversing policy goals is not going to beat tarrifs that affect the whole country.
