Im not a Marxist by any means but the only one world government I would accept would be Marxist. It might be a horrific shitshow but at least they would try to make a livable society.
Doesn't need to go that far. There are other options:
Star Trek is Marxism in space. Seriously.

Oh gotcha, fantasy and science fiction aside, Marxism is always kind of a shitshow IRL. It is just sometimes a better intended shitshow.
