He obviously hasnโt thought it through. As one state, with a proportionate number of congressmen and electoral college votes, Canada would end up as the anti-Texas, dragging the political centre of gravity well into a Democratic majority. A Trumpist annexation would have to split Canada into two states, Alberta and the rest, as to gerrymander the outcome.
Assuming they have the grace to make us all citizens and allow us to vote. I'm not holding my breath.
Don't worry I think that pesky voting process is a thing of the past.
