That's one theory, but weakly supported.
Weakly supported? Yes. But highly probable? Also yes.
If you watch the video, it does make case for it to just be historical and fashion-led trend.
Lol I will watch the video, but I don't need to, to know that the purse theory is wrong. It's just that the correlation between the two is funny.
For sure, and a very alluring conspiracy theory. Maybe at some point it had some truth, but today, it makes no sense. H&M selling pants without pockets doesn't make a difference in H&M's purse sales, and could potentially be giving competitors who sell purses money.
Weakly supported? Yes. But highly probable? Also yes.
